British Wool

We use British wool in many of our beanies for many reasons, sourcing our wool locally helps reduce our carbon footprint as it reduces the amount of yarn we import to make our products , British wool is also a good sustainable fibre that is ideal for outdoor gear as it is highly durable and offers a good alternative to man made fibres.   The UK has more sheep breeds than any country in the world – over sixty different breeds cared for by more than forty thousand sheep farmers, we like to think we're doing our small bit to help British farmers.

Polylana® is a low-impact alternative to 100% acrylic fiber with less energy, water, waste, CO2 and microfiber release

Billions of plastic bottles go into landfills every year.  REPREVE is the leading, most trusted, branded performance fiber made from recycled materials (including plastic bottles). We chose to introduce REPREVE in to our caps as a way to transform a waste product that is polluting our planet and give it a second purpose. .

We understand that some customers don't want to wear animal fibres so Acrylic is a good alternative. Acrylic also doesn't retain odors, it's also light weight and warm so ideal for the outdoors and colder months.

Merino Yarn

All of our Merino comes from non mulesed suppliers which means that it's not only a sustainable fibre but it's also ethically sourced. Merino wool is breathable and is ideal for Moisture Management. Merino wool breathes and manages moisture better than any other fiber.

As your body heats up, the moisture vapour will be absorbed by the wool fiber and released to the drier environment outside of the fabric: releasing heat and keeping the wearer dry and comfortable
